I’m pretty sure they won’t reinvent the whole genre but I realy hope for a twist.Since Diablo II was released 12 years ago, it's safe to say that Diablo III will be the first Diablo title many people will have ever played. Then again I’m intrested what the Dev team has up their sleves to make an intresting endgame possible that isn’t as bland as grifts or even mapping or monolith or delve or whatever gamemode you want to insert here that is fun for you :). If each path on top of it is completely random even with teleports and timeshifts and different enemys and layouts I’ll be happy.

Not for extra loot or XP or whatever but just for fun for experienced players who like a change of pace or want to push group synergies to the max. Stand on all plates if you insist but don’t cry after you turned right and get your butt handled. Stand on plate A and B to go the middle path as a small group. Then again I hope we’ll get some fun MP stuff in dungeons like: stand solo on rune plate A and go the “left path” to enjoy said content in solo mode. I’d like some kind of “dungeon” mode that is realy different each time I do it so I don’t go brainafk “bbbbbbbrrrrrr” mode while watching Sharknado.

Grifts get very boring too after some time because I always felt like I know the setup of the map and where I need to go to get deeper while I only explored a fraction of the map. I hope we’ll see Something that’s the same for anyone when it comes to leaderboards because that’s the only fair playground. Good enemys? Play it? Good pylons? Beat it? Bad Enemys? Close it. Rifts don’t do it for me anymore because Grifts are a gamble sooner or later.
